Privacy Policy

Last updated Oct 21, 2026. This policy explains what VetoX stores and why.

What we collect

  • From Steam: your SteamID64, public persona name, avatar URL, profile URL and, when public, country. We never receive your Steam password.
  • On VetoX: your VetoX username, region, friends, parties, teams, notifications and settings.
  • From game servers: match results and per-match statistics (kills, deaths, assists, damage, headshots, MVPs, score).
  • Technical: session cookies required to keep you signed in, IP addresses in security and audit logs.

How it is used

To run matchmaking, compute ratings and leaderboards, show your public profile, prevent abuse and operate the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising trackers.

What is public

Your username, avatar, Steam profile link, rank, match history and statistics are public. Your team is shown on your profile unless you disable it in Settings.

Retention and deletion

Match records are kept to preserve the integrity of other players' histories. You can ask for your account to be deleted; your personal data will then be removed and your match records anonymised.

Cookies

VetoX uses only essential cookies (session and CSRF protection). No analytics or marketing cookies are set.
